GEODE CAKE RECIPE

CAKE INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups of wheat flour

  • 2 cups sugar

  • ¾ cups cocoa powder

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1  ½ teaspoons of baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon of coffee

  • 1 cup buttermilk (milk with lemon, for each cup of milk, one tablespoon de lemon)

  • ½ cup vegetable oil (I use sunflower)

  • 2 eggs L

  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

TO DECORATE (optional):

  • fondant

  • food coloring

  • edible glitter

  • CMC (optional)

  • sugar or Isomalt for crystal candy

BUTTERCREAM INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter

  • 4 cups powder sugar

  • 1 y ½ teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 2-3 tablespoons of milk

  • ¼ cups sunflower oil

  • a pinch of salt
